~Homemade Snow Skin Mooncake~冰皮月饼

Just a few simple steps to make snow skin mooncake ooo~
I've tried & like to share here~

This is my first time, dun mind if the shape is not beautiful ooo~ =)

The filling inside can buy from ingredient's shop...

Skin's recipe:
120g Ko Fun (糕粉)
50g Shortening (白奶油)
100g Icing Sugar (糖粉) or more depends on different people's taste
140ml warm water (温水)
Essence - Pandan & Yam (small amount is enough to increase it's colour & taste)

1. Mix the materials above all together and stir until a dough is formed.

2. Split into 20g per portion, make into thin layer, then wrap in 40g filling.

3. Sprinkle some Ko Fun into the mould before placing the dough in it to prevent it stick to the mould.



4. Remove it out and cool it in the fridge for 2 hours.



The mooncake is done! So simple and easy right? compare to the market price, homemade is always cheaper! =)

The colour of the dough depends on own flavour, i use Pandan (班兰) essence and the other one is Yam essence (芋头)~& the flling i use Tau Sar (豆沙)...simply choose the filling u want such as 红豆沙、绿豆沙、白云蓉、白莲蓉、红莲蓉,绿茶等等~

U can just Do It Yourself at home~!
