Home made Sushi~for Kuching Festival

For u guys information...Kuching Festival start from 25 July 2009 to 23 August 2009...
i help my mum's friend to make Sushi and sell at Kuching Festival.
We only make some simple Sushi because the special one such as Dried scallop sushi, fish egg sushi, kelp sushi and many others need to make only when peoples order...
We ready some needed food 1st as shown in the figure below:





After we get ready all these foods,we start to shaped thr rice mixed with some ingredients...

Make sure the rice is mixed completely with the secret ingredients..



Take some rice and shape it into an oval shape...



Put it into the tool..



Press it..



And finally push it out of the tool..





It looked nice when i arrange them all in the box..



After this, we make the simplest, cucumber sushi..







With each next cut the knife will slower and slower slice through sushi. You will notice that the knife is covered in sushi rice.



Wipe the knife and wet it. Repeat this step for each roll or more.



As I cut the sushi, I choose the size of sushi pieces; usually they are half an inch wide. If you make the pieces smaller, they will break a part. If you make them bigger, you will have a hard time chewing them.

Still got other many kinds of Sushi at the booth...u guys must go and try ooo...

But bcuz of i don't dare to anyhow take photo at their booth..so i juz find some other example Sushi that sell by them...







Their booth is near the ISUZU STAGE...there is a booth "Home Made Sushi" with yellow signboard and have tanglong thr...okay?thanks!=)
